Jesus gave His disciples and all who would follow Him this amazing promise, in John 16:33,"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Suffering and persecution are not to surprise us if we purpose to live our lives for Jesus. it is inevitable, but God will give us the grace to stand. These sufferings are temporary, but His joy is eternal. Pray for this around the world suffering great persecution, and stand firm when those winds of adversity beat against your own heart. Jesus is with you!
