As a follower of Jesus Christ, we are called to give Him our all. It is only when we give up the search and turn it all over to Him that we find what we were looking for all along. Dying to self can be a scary thought, but it’s the price of true happiness. Jesus submitted everything, including His fears and His friends, to the will of God. It cost Him His life. It won Him the harvest. What have you not surrendered to God? Why? Will you obey Him?

This relationship transcends denominations and is not a matter of membership. It is the gift of a willing and redeeming God to a repentant and willing sinner that trusts in Christ. Is that you?

The gospel of Jesus Christ is nothing short of glorious! The very word gospel means “good news.” In one sense, it is news that is too good to be true. It is the message of The Son of God, Jesus Christ becoming The Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world. But this glorious message is a message that is very exclusive in the sense that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only message whereby sinners are brought into a right relationship with God. The statement of Jesus, “I Am The Way, The Truth and The Life, no man comes unto The Father but by Me” (John 14:6), does not set right in our politically correct society, for it contradicts the mantra that all religions lead to God. Nonetheless, “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

It is the privilege and joy of the Body of Christ to corporately observe ordinances that Jesus left for His church,This morning we will be observing The Lord’s Supper and water baptism.. One of the verses taken from our study in Psalm 111 this morning is: He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. Whenever we gather to worship The Lord and hear His word proclaimed, we are experiencing the wonderful works of God.

On this Lord’s Day as we observe The Lord's Supper and saints make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus by Water Baptism, we are going to look at what the Bible has to say about repentance. There is no pathway to heaven apart from repentance. There is no growth in personal holiness or grace apart from repenta

Jesus gave His disciples and all who would follow Him this amazing promise, in John 16:33,"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Suffering and persecution are not to surprise us if we purpose to live our lives for Jesus. it is inevitable, but God will give us the grace to stand. These sufferings are temporary, but His joy is eternal. Pray for this around the world suffering great persecution, and stand firm when those winds of adversity beat against your own heart. Jesus is with you!

One of the most comforting and assuring attributes of God is His faithfulness. Difficult times and crushing situations can overwhelm us all and hard times are no respecter of persons. In those days of difficulty and despair, remember the faithfulness of God in Christ to bring grace, help, and hope in our time of need, God's promises are blood wrought, blood bought and blood backed. God is faithful.

The solemn counsel which our Lord addresses to His disciples should often ring in our ears--"Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak." (Mark 14:38)

When we consider the finished work of Christ on the cross, it leaves us speechless. We the sinful, we the condemned, we the prideful, and we the lost can be, through Jesus Christ ransomed, redeemed, righteous and made justified. The cross of Christ destroys the curse we are under because of sin, and it frees us from religion, works, and worry. Jesus paid it all!
