An integral part of a healthy walk with Christ stems from what we choose to focus on in life. The Christian life is a supernatural life that is lived in the natural realm. When the apostle Paul was writing to the church at Corinth about being at home in the body, but absent from The Lord, he declared that as long as we are in these mortal bodies, we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:6,7). Isn’t it interesting that in the verses that precede and follow this verse regarding walking by faith rather than by sight is the word confident.

Through the Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - God reveals Himself as relationship. If you're not having an active relationship with God, you will find it hard to have good Christian fellowship with others.

Today is the first day of the year 2017. Today is the day that many people begin that new diet, or exercise program, or budget. It is a day when we reflect on the past year or years, and come to the conclusion that something has got to change.

Brothers and sisters in the Lord, God’s word has given us all we need for our marriages, children, and families. Let us not forget that God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). So this morning we will look at Proverbs 22:6 in three sections: 6a - Train up a child (Deuteronomy 6); 6b - in the way they should go (Psalm 127); and, 6c - and when they are old they shall not depart (Luke 15).
