Koinonia

It is the privilege and joy of the Body of Christ to corporately observe ordinances that Jesus left for His church,This morning we will be observing The Lord’s Supper and water baptism.. One of the verses taken from our study in Psalm 111 this morning is: He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. Whenever we gather to worship The Lord and hear His word proclaimed, we are experiencing the wonderful works of God.

Follow along with the Koinonia family as we continue in the study of the Book of Galatians. Because of Christ, we now relate to God our Father on a whole new basis. That’s through our faith in the risen, exalted Lord Jesus Christ. My righteousness is not of works, not of my obedience or keeping the law. My righteousness is imputed to me by my faith in Jesus Christ.

The liberty that we now have in Jesus is a liberty to love one another with a love that is kind, gracious, forgiving and sacrificial. It is a love that is not natural. It is a love that follows the death of self. In one sense, the call of the gospel is the call to come and die that you might live. As sheep in the fold of God, we are taught to love one another. Care for one another. Pray for one another. Simply put, this liberty that we have in Christ is a liberty to love freely, cheerfully, and all for the glory of God.
