The truth is man is a sinner, lost and undone, separated from God by a wide chasm of sin. He needs something done in his life that he will never be able to do for himself. He needs what Jesus alone can do.

As we continue through the Ephesian series, Pastor Ray Viola teaches through an important lesson for the church. In Christ, He has torn down the division between Jews and Gentiles; He has, through His blood broken down the ethnic and racial lines that this broken world draws and dictates. Jesus Christ is the Prince of peace and the Chief Cornerstone!

The greatest mystery ever revealed was not a man-made plot for treasures or trinkets of this earth, but the glorious and eternal plan of God to send His Son Jesus Christ to save both Jews and Gentiles, as Paul said, "Christ in you, the hope of glory." Paul's gospel was the gospel of grace which he received and which he proclaimed. Have you received this grace? it only comes through repentance and receiving Christ as Savior and Lord.

Knowing what Christ has done for you, enables you to walk in a worthy way. Theology without practically and loving obedience is hypocrisy. In Christ we are called to put off the old man and put on the new man and walk in a way which honors the Lord. How is your walk? What do you need to put on or put off?

What is the one thing that potentially could destroy the Church? truth be told...CHRISTIANS! While Jjesus said the "gates of hell would not prevail against His Church," sometimes Christians do the most damage to its body through the self-harm of dis-unity. In these scriptures, the Apostle Paul wants the Ephesian Church to live in the axiom of belief and behavior, doctrine and duty, and theology and practicality. TO lean on one side or the other is an imbalance that destroys the Church and our witness to the world.
